After the Bali new year ☆

Hi dear everybody, how are you doing these days?
we are super good and normal days in bali, just now i realize that already 2 months i didn't write this blog.
these 2 months we had a short flight around bali, on january went to surabaya java island, and just last month had short buisness trip to bangkok.
Im sorry if i make you wait for our items, but for sure will deliver to you as soon as possible.

This month in Bali, we had a New year and new year in bali is called the day of silence.
The reason why, here doesn't have any flights for new year and everybody can not go outside whole day, not allowed to turn on the lights as well. ( except the hotels)
So dark and quiet, but can see the shiny stars so clear at night, these are really really special.

we spent the new year at north-west national park area, because they have amazing hot spring!
and on the way was new year's eve, we saw a lot of portable shrine around.
normally they burn this portable shrine after the parade, these shrine is the meaning of bad spirit, thats why they burn for the past bad spirit and things, then we have the day of silence for the new year.

If you come to bali, and if you are hot spring lover's or diver, I really recomend of this area for visiting. Im sure that you will enjoy the driving at country side too.

Dear minasama, こんにちは！

あれ、もう３月なんですね？ということは前回からまた２ヶ月も経っている！！！
この２ヶ月は小刻みに近場をフライトしたり、バリ島内を右往左往してました
１月はお隣の島のSurabayaへ。そして２月はBangkokへ。。。先週バンコクから戻り、今は来月の展示会の為のNew items作りです
３カ所での展示会なので、それぞれ違うアイテムの産みの日々です

まだお手元にオーダーしてくれたアイテムが届いてない方、同時で製作中なので今しばらくお待ちくださいねーーーー❤

３月のバリはBali サカ暦New yearとGalungan＆Kuninganという（日本で言うお盆）の行事が重なり、そのタイミングになると前後３日間は機能がストップします。

うちのスタッフや職人さんはバリの人が多いのでもちろんお仕事はお休みです。

ということは３月は１０日間くらいの機能がストップするということです。

そして雨季の終わりかけの大嵐や大雨で予定も変更になったり、スムーズに進まない事が出て来ちゃったり。。。

と、なんだか言い訳っぽいね

そんなんでバリが機能停止になるときに合わせて私たちも休暇にしたり、右脳作業に集中したりしていますが、先日のNew yearはバリの西部国立公園での温泉休暇に行ってまいりました！

久々にバリ島を縦断して、まだまだ自然がいっぱい残ってる風景をたくさん見てちょっと安心。住んでる南部エリアはめまぐるしい建設ラッシュなのでね。

バリに来る機会があれば、ぜひ北西部はおすすめです！なんて言ってもいい温度の温泉があるから、温泉好きな方にはかなり最高！あと、途中のドライブもいいよ！！！

これらの悪霊行列はNew yearの前夜に燃やします。１年の（悪）を燃やすという儀式。
そして、New Yearは飛行機の発着もない、外にも出れない、電気も使えない静寂の日を迎えます。

ダイビング目的の方が多いので、意外と温泉は取り合いにならずに済みます
宿にある温泉は３つ、プールは２つ、どこかのタイミングでどこかは貸し切り状態！
もちろん、ダイビングするには最高のエリアだと思うのでダイバーの方にもいいね

Lot's of Love from Bali

Bangkok on february ☆

We went to bangkok again on the end of february, we just start the production since 6 months before at there, so mainly this time we try to continue for producing the jewelry as well.

Exciting days at bangkok, if I stay longer and longer in bali, on the other side, i miss the city too.
and, what i love bangkok is because of  kind& calming thai people and  powerful foreigner's friends.

And lovely room always we stay, it is really feels the oasis of the city. also had a really good sleep there.

anyway, very short indroduction, but go ahead for the photos please....❤

2月下旬はまたもやバンコクに行って参りました！いつものようにVisa関係、マテリアル買い付け、そして最近はご存知の方も多いと思うけど、半年前からタイ生産もはじめたのでnew sample作りなどなど。。。

２月ー３月頭のバンコクは乾季から雨季への季節の変わり目だったけど、激アツなバリに比べてさわやかで過ごしやすかったー。

バンコクに出発する前はバリでの大業務に追われていて、着いたら２日間は寝よう！って心に誓い、やっとの思いで出発！いつも宿泊しているお宿はキッチンもあり、リビングとベッドルームが別になっているので居心地もだいぶいいのです。そして本当に良く寝れる！バリのうちより良く寝れる！というのも、バリだと窓とかがスカスカだし、虫や猫や大雨の音や、隣人の音などで起こされたりして意外と深い眠りにつけないのです。（田舎なのにね）

バンコクや東京は都会のせいか部屋の作りもしっかりしてて（防音システムがいいんだろうね）外の音が漏れて来なかったりするからかなりぐっすり。。。zzz　

今回はタイ人Workerとのコミュニケーションもますます深まり、来月の展示会に向けて、ただいま進行中でございます。バリ人が不得意な所をタイ人は得意だったりするので、タイ生産も今後も続けたいな。バンコクに行ける理由もできるしね。

Surabaya on january ☆

We went to surabaya city java island on january, Surabaya is just 40 mins away from bali by airplane and there is my mum's hometown. So, i have a lot of relatives and cousins over there.
That day i went there because of my youngest cousin wedding, and it was for the first time in 15 years.
There is less tourist compare to bali, but so Indonesia, so local and so exotic too.
Many Dutch colonial style building is still there and it looks very nostalgia.

So,,, I had a precious time there, and good memories with families. it will be a threasure forever.

１月はジャワ島にあるスラバヤに行ってきました
というのもスラバヤは母の出身地であり、親戚やいとこ達もたくさん住んでいるのです。
この日は最年少のいとこの結婚式（正しくはお披露目式）に出席して参りました。

スラバヤはバリから飛行機でたったの４０分、でも観光地でもないので訪れるツーリストもバリに比べてかなり少ないけど、お時間に余裕がある方は行ってみてもいいかもです。
というのも、かなり渋い！そしてThe Indonesiaというか、どローカルエリアなので、そういう雰囲気が好きな方にはおすすめです。

オランダ時代のコロニアル調建物もかなりたくさん残っています。

そして、おっとり気質なバリ人と違い、スラバヤ人はみんなパッキパキ、（チャキチャキって言った方がいいのかな？）なぜかテンションも高めで元気がいいのです。日本で言ったらスラバヤは関西の下町系っていう感じなのかな？もちろん、母も肝っ玉母さんで、電話で話すときも声が割れるほどの声の大きさです。

もうちょっと時間があったら郊外の火山、メラピ山や田舎道をドライブしたかったのだけど、発送続きのタイミングだったので私たちは行けませんでした　>.<

個人的には、１５年ぶりにスラバヤに行けて、そして母のルーツを巡る旅もできたのでかなりノスタルジーな時間を過ごせました、でもやっぱり家族のつながりは素晴らしいものですね。今後も大事にしていきたいです

そんなこんなで家族のつながりも再確認もできて、ほんとにスペシャルな小旅行でした☆
